With the recent introduction of ISO 55001, businesses are being called on to more proactively manage their assets and costs. Reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) is a concept of risk centric strategy that aims to ensure that systems continue to functions what they’re supposed to do in a given operating context. When implemented, it results in increased cost effectiveness, reliability, machine uptime, and an understanding of the level of risk that the organization is managing.

In order to implement RCM successfully, vibration, thermography and other none-intrusive services will be applied to evaluate the condition of an asset that has been identified as in RCM. Precision alignment and balancing will then be performed on the assets that required action.
